This policy explains how contact and quote request data submitted through the website is handled.
Data controller

Data collected
We process the details you submit: name, email, subject and message, and company and phone number where provided. The enquiry may also include the language, selected product or reference, and originating page.
Required and optional fields
Your name, email, subject and message are required to receive and respond to your enquiry. Company and phone number are optional. The form cannot be submitted without the required fields; you can use the direct contact details shown on the website instead.
Purpose
The data will be used to answer contact, quote, availability and technical information requests concerning the company's products.
Legal basis
Enquiry data is processed on the basis of pre-contractual steps requested by the user and the company's legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry.
Form service provider
Website hosting and the technical receipt of form submissions are provided by Netlify as a service provider to the company. Submitted data is subject to the safeguards and terms applicable to that service.
Form drafts
Where your browser allows it, the website temporarily saves the editable form fields in the current tab session, separately for each enquiry context. This lets you recover what you wrote after visiting another page and returning to the form. Acknowledgement of this policy is not saved in the draft. The draft is removed after a successful submission or when you clear it. This storage does not send your enquiry to the company; it is sent only when you submit the form.
Submission status
A separate technical marker records an ongoing or unconfirmed submission in the same tab and enquiry context. It does not contain the message text or your acknowledgement of this policy. It helps prevent accidentally repeating an enquiry whose receipt has not yet been confirmed. Clearing the draft does not remove this marker or cancel an enquiry already submitted. The marker is removed when the form confirms the submission result or when you choose ‘Review your message’.
Retention and sharing
Data will be kept only for the period required to follow up the request, without prejudice to applicable legal obligations. The company does not sell personal data to third parties.
Your rights
The data subject may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as provided by applicable law, through geral@pregosavela.com.
Complaints
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including Portugal’s National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).
